Commissions

If you've come to this page on the site, you might be interested in a private commission from me. So here we go:

1. I open commissions periodically throughout the year. The best thing is to check my socials and see what my status is. My openings typically fill up within 24 hrs, and I limit them to 12 at a time. This allows me to meet my deadlines. If you aren't a social media person, I get it. It's not for everyone. Just click on the contact tab or e-mail me at danorgillart@yahoo.com. I'll let you know if I can fit you in ( and I do try my best to make that happen ).

2. My standard commission offering is an 8 x 10" head & shoulder shot of your choice of character; comics, sci-fi & pop culture. No pets, no family pics or obscure characters. Turnaround time is 8-12 weeks. I usually finish sooner, but this is a safe window for me to operate within.

PRICE: $250 US plus shipping & handling.

3. For the above 8 x 10" offering, no deposit is required. Full payment is due upon completion and your satisfaction. You will be notified when I am about to start.

4. For larger pieces, I am always willing to discuss them with you. Pricing can vary, as it depends greatly on size & complexity. If a larger piece is accepted by me, a 50% deposit is required, with full payment due upon completion. Turnaround time is usually the same, 8-12 weeks unless a longer completion date is agreed upon.

5. Shipping: Upon completion and final payment, items are securely packed and shipped with tracking & insurance, no exceptions. I pack securely and have yet to have a painting damaged in transit. No point in paying for custom work and having it destroyed by a shipper.

6. Urgent/Rush Jobs. I don't do them, so don't ask.

7. Inquiring about a commission is not a guarantee I will take the job. It flat out might not interest me, or I'm not the right artist for the request.
